Viewing Learning Experiences
Instructions for all users to view learning experiences on the “Learning Experiences” tab.
Viewing learning experiences allows all users associated with the program to access learning experience details, including the description, associated objectives and activities, preceptors, scheduled evaluations, and files.
Instructions for Viewing All Learning Experiences
- Select the Residency Program in the Access My Sites/Programs drop-down
- Select the Learning Experiences tab.The system displays a list of all learning experiences associated with the program.
- Review the information displayed in the grid, including: Type, Learning Experience name, Current Training Site, and Preceptors.
- Use the available links to access additional learning experience actions and details:

- Select the View link next to a learning experience to see its details.
- Select the Show Inactive Learning Experiences option to display inactive records.
- Select Download List to generate an Excel report of learning experiences information. The report includes name, site, status, type, and associated preceptors.
- Select Add New Learning Experience to create a new learning experience.
Instructions for Viewing an Individual Learning Experience
- Select the Residency Program in the Access My Sites/Programs drop-down menu.
- Select the Learning Experiences tab.
- Select the View link next to the desired learning experience.
The learning experience opens with additional details. Use the learning experience drop-down in the header to switch between learning experiences. - Verify the CAGO Version to make sure the correct set of Competency Areas, Goals and Objectives (CAGOs) are listed for the Educational Objectives and Activities tabs.
- Select Print Learning Experience to download a PDF of the record.

- Overview
Displays the General Description of the Practice Area, Role(s) of Pharmacist in the Practice Area, Expectation of Residents, and Progression of the Residents over the Period of the Learning Experience. - Educational Objectives
Displays the General Description of the Practice Area, Role(s) of Pharmacist in the Practice Area, Expectation of Residents, and Progression of the Residents over the Period of the Learning Experience. - Activities
Displays the activities that the resident will complete as part of the learning experience. This list can be viewed by activity, objective, or objectives with no activities. - Evaluations
Displays the evaluations scheduled for this learning experience. The grid includes for each scheduled evaluation: the Evaluation name, Type, the Evaluator, who or what is being Evaluated, and when the evaluation is Due. Click “View the learning experience's evaluation requirements defined by the accreditation standard” to view which evaluations will be automatically scheduled per the standard.

Displays the Preceptors associated with this learning experience. Note: Being listed as a preceptor does not mean the preceptor is scheduled with residents. It indicates who can edit the learning experience if allowed by the program. - Files
Displays files added for the Learning Experience.
