Edits For Ordering Investigator On Inventory
If you receive inventory without assigning it to an ordering Investigator, this can be corrected from the View/Edit Inventory screen of the protocol. If you don't see the option to assign an ordering investigator during receipt, then the protocol is not tracking inventory by ordering investigator.
Editing inventory and assigning it to an Ordering Investigator will edit the inventory dating back to the receipt of that line item of inventory and appear as if the inventory was received for that Ordering Investigator. This will overwrite any previous Ordering Investigators assignments and not be correctable without a NTF.
If you are transferring inventory from No Ordering Investigator or another Investigator, you will want to use the Immediate Transfer pathway.
- Ensure that the inventory line item was truly received for the ordering investigator and has never been dispensed to another participant under another investigator before proceeding.
