Implementation Prerequisites

Implementation of the CTMS interface can happen at any time, but it is recommended to have a fully implemented CTMS in place prior to starting the Vestigo CTMS interface.

While not a prerequisite, it is recommended to have implemented Vestigo prior starting the Vestigo CTMS interface. 

Contracting and setup

Once the contracting is complete, a Vestigo CTMS implementation specialist will guide the site team through on implementing the interface. There are four phases of the implementation, and it generally takes about 8-10 weeks from kickoff to go live. However, these times are not guarantees and can vary depending on resource availability.

Prior to implementation, there is Pre-Implementation and Scoping call that we would have to learn how the CTMS interface works at the site.

The four phases are:

1. Security and Connectivity  - During this phase, we are working on configuring a Vestigo test instance along with establishing connectivity with a test environment of the CTMS.
2. Mapping Fields - This phase includes a call with the IDS pharmacy and the Vestigo team and providing recommendations for certain field mapping, along with mapping existing active protocols.
3. Test Case Validation - Once the mappings are known, we add them to the Vestigo Test Environment and allow the interface to make one pass and provide any updates to the IDS team for review.
4. Production Go-Live - At a mutually agreed upon date/time, the Vestigo teams enable to the interface in production.

We also recommend having a Post Go-Live call, about a week after go live with the IDS and Vestigo teams.
