Upcoming Changes To Date Format (2022)

The upcoming Vestigo and Vestigo Verify Release 5.4 (estimated to be released late August/early September) will include a change to how dates are entered and displayed in both applications. The new date format will be “dd MON yyyy” (see example below). The purpose of the update is to remove ambiguity for users and reflect GMP guidance. The new format will be present on all screens and reports with the exception of billing extracts, billing invoices, and labels.  Billing extracts, billing invoices, and labels will only change if requested.  

Example for August 25, 2022

Current Format: 8/25/2022 (mm/dd/yyyy)

New Format: 25 AUG 2022 (dd MON yyyy)

After moving to the new format, Vestigo users will still be able to select the date on a calendar (the same as today) or enter the date as “25/08/2022.”
