Vestigo Version 5.3.2 Point Release

Vestigo 5.3.2 Release Notes

Release Date: November 2, 2021

Enhancement to Send Out Inventory

Help Center: “Send Out Inventory”

An enhancement to the Send Out Inventory process will allow users to capture and maintain the Ordering Investigator assigned to the inventory. Inventory will be assigned as follows:

  • For non-itemized inventory, adding or editing the Ordering Investigator at the time of Send Out will update the investigator for all inventory selected and apply to all previous transactions associated with that inventory.
  • The inventory can only be assigned once during the Send Out process. If inventory should be assigned to multiple investigators, please Use Edit Inventory or Immediate Transfer to assign the investigator prior to entering the Send Out.

To provide more transparency to the assigned Ordering Investigator, a column for investigator will be added to the Shipment Receive and the Immediate Transfer (bulk) grid.

New Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Prescription Log Report

Help Center: “Vestigo Reports-Across Facilities/Protocols”

With the increased need for sites to report Scheduled Drug dispensations, we created the “PDMP Prescription Log.” This report is not state specific; it contains the majority of required fields and can be used by any site.

Correction to View/Edit Inventory Screen

With more studies receiving and dispensing partial amounts, we were alerted to an issue where inventory totals were displaying as a whole number rather than a decimal on the View/Edit Inventory screen. This issue has been corrected. In addition, the Current Inventory Report, Immediate Transfer, and Adjust Inventory screens will also accurately display the inventory total and transactions can be completed for partial amounts.

Changes to Immediate Transfer

Help Center: “Immediate Transfer”

Based on client feedback, there will be several updates to the Immediate Transfer function:

  • The quantity of inventory to be transferred will need to be entered by the user. The “Quantity” field will no longer default the amount of inventory to be transferred.
  • Bulk Transfer will include a “No Change” option for “Patient/Subject.” If multiple inventories assigned to various patients are being transferred, the “No Change” option will maintain the assignments when transferred to the new location.
  • The “Ordering Investigator” option “No Change” on Bulk Transfer will be corrected to maintain the assignment of investigator. If multiple inventories assigned to various investigators are being transferred, the “No Change” option will maintain the assignments when transferred to the new location.
