Vestigo Version 5.5.2 Point Release

Vestigo and Vestigo Verify Version 5.5.2 Release Notes

Available: March 19, 2024

New Option to Print or Hide Patient/Subject Initials on DARFs

A new option will be available in Vestigo and Vestigo Verify to show or hide subject initials when downloading the Drug Accountability Record Form (DARF).

This option will be controlled by the setting in Vestigo on the Local tab of each study. When the Local tab setting is designated “Yes” (to print initials), monitors will be able to select if they want to show or hide subject initials.

New Report: User Report Download History

A new report, "User Report Download History," will display a record of all reports downloaded in Vestigo to provide sites more transparency and additional HIPAA compliance.

The report will include the username, report type, report title, protocol information (if generated for a specific protocol), description of what transpired, and date/time.

This report is located within Application Administration. To access:

  1. Hover over Main in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Click on Application Administration.
  3. Click on Security Settings and Reports.

New Alert: NCI Expiration Dates

To assist sites with safety and compliance, there will be a new alert for "NCI Expiration Dates." The alert will display all Address Book contacts with an NCI Expiration date that is expired or expires within 30 days.

The contact role for the protocol will need to be deemed as an "Authorized Prescriber" on the Contacts tab for the alert to trigger. This alert will only display the information of an active contact with expiration date and a link to view the protocols the contact is on when the alert is selected in the facilities on the protocol.

Updates to US Date Format

A new US date format column (MM/DD/YY) will be added to key Vestigo reports to make filtering and sorting easier. This is an ongoing project; we will continue to determine other areas and reports we can do this to improve sortability. Reports now displaying this update include:

    • Billing Reports: Generate a Pre-Bill Report
    • Billing Reports: Download Charges
    • Inventory Reports: Expired or Soon to Expire Inventory
    • Inventory Reports: Inventory Transactions by Date
    • Inventory Reports: Returns Remaining by Facility
    • Protocol-Level Reports: Protocol Dispensing History Report
    • Protocol-Level Reports: Dispensed Inventory Report

Change to Competency Alert

The user-specific Competency Alert located on the Protocol Operations Alert tab on the Vestigo home screen will now include a total count of both hard and soft stop competencies. When that alert is selected, the user may then sort between Restriction Type to only view all, hard or soft stop competencies, but Hard Stop competencies will be defaulted.

New Filter for Location under View/Edit Inventory

Within the protocol, the View/Edit Inventory link will contain a new filter for Location (Inventory Location).

Update to One Time Fees

Service dates will now be allowed for One Time Fees. If a future service date is entered for a One Time Fee, the One Time Fee will not charge until that date, depending upon the requirement for the receive on inventory if that option is selected.
