Patient Search Restrictions

Added support to restrict patient visibility to specific facilities. Currently, Vestigo allows users to search for and view all patients across all facilities, which can expose patient data beyond intended boundaries. To enhance data security and align with facility-specific access controls, the system will be updated to restrict patient search results to only those facilities the user has access to. [REF# 106311]

New Functionality

  1. Facility Filter - A new filter will be added to patient searches to ensure users only see patients from facilities they have access to.
  2. Facility Dropdown - During patient creation, users will select the facility from a dropdown menu, which will be populated based on their permissions. The patient profile will display this facility.
  3. Search Restrictions - Patient search restrictions will be applied to various pages and functions, ensuring users only see patients from facilities they have permissions for.

Enhancements and Fixes

  • For increased security, passwords included in emails displayed in Vestigo Verify's 'My Communication History' will now be hidden. [REF# 107540]
